Carlson & Burnett Lawyer Receives Omaha Bar Association Award
Carlson and Burnett, LLP lawyer Rich Hitz has been selected to receive the "Alfred G. Ellick Lawyer Referral Service Award" for his more than 10 years of active service to the Omaha Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service.
Established in 1962, the Omaha Lawyer Referral Service is a non-profit public service of the Omaha Bar Association. The service refers citizens to private practicing attorneys in Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, and Washington counties. The participating lawyer handling personal injury and workers compensation must agree to provide free initial consultations with all members of the public that call the Omaha Bar Association looking for an attorney in that specialty.
The award Rich Hitz is receiving is named after the founder of the OBA Lawyer Referral Service and Omaha Bar Association Past President Alfred "Al" Ellick. This award was created by the OBA Executive Council in 2014, and is given to those attorneys who have volunteered for the Lawyer Referral Service for ten consecutive years.
