In 1993, Omaha family law attorney Andrew M. Ferguson graduated from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska—after having obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in History and Social Science from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. Andy was passionate about family law early on in his career, and began focusing his practice on matters involving divorce, family court order modifications, and issues regarding child custody. He first began his career in Blair, Nebraska before joining the team at Carlson & Burnett in Omaha.
As a seasoned trial lawyer, Andy understands and appreciates the challenges of courtroom advocacy and the role this skill plays in his work. He is able to offer a true understanding of the trial process and effectively fights for the rights and interests of family law clients in a courtroom setting. Andy is dedicated to standing up for his clients and providing the keen, effective advocacy they require throughout every phase of their case. Andy offers representation in family law cases as well as criminal defense and civil litigation.
In addition to his work as a divorce attorney in Omaha, Andy served as an adjunct faculty member at Metropolitan Community College in the business law department for 17 years. In his free time, he enjoys golf and watching sports, and loves spending time with his kids as coach of a number of their baseball, basketball, and football teams. He lives in Omaha with his wife, Kathie, and their full house of five children—including triplets!
