Clete Blakeman

Martindale-Hubbell® AV® Peer Rated Personal Injury Attorney in Omaha

As an Omaha personal injury attorney, Clete Blakeman is personally and professionally committed to the success of each and every one of his clients. This is why Clete is sought out and specifically selected to represent seriously injured people and the families of individuals who have been killed as a result of the negligence of others. With over 25 years of experience, Clete has earned the respect and trust of his community.

Clete is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates—an honor recognizing his commitment to professionalism and ethics in legal representation. He is also a standing member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum® in honor of his major individual results, including verdicts, settlements, and awards totaling over one million dollars on behalf of his clients.

Prior to his legal career, Clete was a 3-year letterman at Quarterback for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Husker football team. Following his collegiate career, Clete turned to officiating football at the college level. In 2008, he was selected to join the National Football League (NFL) as an on-field game official. Clete was selected as Referee for Super Bowl 50 (Denver Broncos vs. Carolina Panthers) in February of 2016. Both his football and legal careers have served to cement his natural qualities of a competitive drive and strong leadership skills. Clete remains a true professional, whether he’s on the football field or advocating for injured clients in court.

In December of 2017, Clete was named one of the “12 of the Year’s Most Fascinating Lawyers” in the Journal of the American Bar Association for his skills in advocating for his clients.
