Joe joined Carlson & Burnett as a partner in January of 2017. Previously, he worked with clients at Schirber & Wagner in Omaha defending them in federal criminal cases, including multiple defendant drug conspiracy cases, and has over 20 years of experience in state courts with felony and misdemeanor charges. Joe received his BA in 1990 and Juris Doctorate in 1993 from the Creighton University School of Law. An experienced litigator, Joe has over 20 years of experience trying complex cases in the Omaha area. Joe has handled personal injury cases ranging upward of one million dollars. In 2012, Joe was brought in as a trial counsel by another attorney and helped obtain a $250,000 jury verdict for a client injured in an automobile accident. In 2015, Joe settled over $2.2 Million dollars in Personal Injury cases.
Joe has proven experience in divorce, custody issues, child support or alimony, personal injury including car accidents, dog or animal attacks, medical malpractice, property liability, traumatic brain injury (TBI), or injuries cause by poorly designed or malfunctioning products, or criminal charges in state and federal courts.
