Terry A. White is an experienced litigation attorney who represents clients throughout Nebraska and Iowa in matters involving business and employment issues. She has been practicing law for 30 years. Her clientele has includes plaintiffs and defendants throughout Nebraska. She is experienced in cases involving commercial disputes, trust, and estate litigation and she has worked extensively in cases involving disputes among beneficiaries, real estate disputes, white-collar matters involving fraud, civil rights, and workplace discrimination cases. She has tried cases in the state, tax, and federal courts. Her dedication to her clients goes above and beyond, and she is proud to serve the clients of Carlson & Burnett with excellence.
In 1978, Terry graduated from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota with a B.A. in Physical Education and a minor in Business. She went on to obtain her J.D., graduating cum laude in 1986 from the Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. She served as a Moot Court Board member and traveling team member, as well as on the Board of Editors for the Creighton Law Review. She started practicing law in Nebraska in 1986.
Terry has received an AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®—the highest possible rating. Over the years, Terry has remained an active part of the Omaha community. She served as an adjunct legal writing professor at Creighton University School of Law for nine years, assisting law students in achieving an advanced education. She is also a member of a number of organizations such as the Nebraska Association of Trial Lawyers. A native of Northwest Iowa, Terry enjoys spending time with her husband. Her activities include playing with her two golden retrievers, horseback riding, and competing in equestrian events.
